The Pueblo City Council held a planning retreat on February 22-23, 2006 to discuss goals and objectives for the City of Pueblo during the next 3 years.  From this meeting, it was discussed that a list of Core Values should be adopted by the City Council in order to create an esteemed public service character for the City of Pueblo .  The Council created the following list of core values.

  • Transparency
  • Professionalism
  • Responsive and Respectful
  • Service Oriented with a “Can Do Attitude”

About City Council:

  • Created by Charter, Article 3
    • Meetings second and fourth Mondays, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, Council Chambers, second floor
    • City Council is composed of seven members, four elected from each of four districts and three elected at large
    • Terms are four years and are staggered
