Fire Museum hosts Open House
Almost everything you’d like to know about the world of firefighting, past and present, will be available Saturday May 15 and Sunday May 16 courtesy of the City of Pueblo Fire Department.
Hose Company No.3 – Fire Museum will hold an open house on those dates as part of Colorado’s Historic Preservation Month. Fire Chief Christopher Riley says the public can see some of the newest displays in the museum and some of the most inventive devices used in firefighting in the past.
Aficionados of firefighting lore can also get their fill straight from the horse’s mouth—men and women who are among the city’s finest.
The museum will be open for the special Preservation Month at 10:00 a.m. both days.
Those who miss the two-day event this time around, will get another chance to visit the museum at the end of the month.
